Dr. Michael Wood, D.O.

Although Dr. Wood is also dedicated to treating adults, he completed an extensive two-year post-residency fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at the prestigious University of Illinois at Chicago-Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary. He is a published author in peer reviewed journals and lectures in the community regarding both general and pediatric ophthalmology.

As a fellowship-trained pediatric ophthalmologist, Dr. Wood is dedicated to providing compassionate clinical and surgical care to all children with simple or complex ocular problems. If you have a child with special needs, possible eye problems, systemic disease which has possible eye consequences or simply have questions regarding your child’s eyes, he invites you to call for an examination or initial phone consultation.
